An Event Apart SF 08.17.2008

I’m off to San Francisco in about 4 hours to go to An Event Apart.

Up to now, everything I learned about my field I learned through self-practice and random reading online. Going to an actual conference where I’ll able to converse and discuss things in the field with people other than co-workers will be something new — and maybe fun.

If things are thought provoking enough, I might even write about it. Either way, it’s my first real “professional development” conference, so it should be an experience.

And hopefully, I’ll meet some awesome people.
